HR Onboarding Specialist - temporary $19-20/hr (Depending on experience) Hartford, CT The HR Onboarding Specialist will be primarily responsible for managing the entire onboarding process including coordinating background screenings, I-9 verifications, etc. You will also be responsible for handling HR file management and supporting other areas of HR as needed for this reputable non-profit. Responsibilities Oversee the full onboarding process post-offer acceptance, including preparing and processing background checks, I-9 verification, and other required documentation. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all onboarding paperwork and assist with new hire orientations. Manage and maintain employee HR files, ensuring all documentation is compliant and up-to-date. Assist with general HR administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews, answering employee questions, and supporting various HR functions as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and proper integration of new employees. Requirements: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred 1+ years of experience in HR (internships count) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with file management.
