Job Description

As an  Armed Security Professional - Government Site - Evening Shift in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This armed post requires you to respond promptly to situations as they arise, always acting with integrity and professionalism. You will be part of a team that values reliability, innovation, and a people-first approach, contributing to a secure and welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. The working environment and conditions may vary depending on the site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred.
  • An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
