Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate brings a passion for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and a calm presence under pressure. This role is key in ensuring our weddings and events run seamlessly, from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and the Events Team to plan and detail weddings and special events.
• Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), collect payments, and communicate event updates.
• Serve as a day-of-event contact to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate guest accommodations and event-related materials (menus, signage, agendas)
• Work closely with internal departments to communicate event needs and logistics.
• Conduct market research to understand trends and support package development.
• Maintain knowledge of all Goodstone offerings, event packages, and venue capabilities.
• Assist with rental orders, timelines, and floor plans
• Provide support with vendor coordination and rental setup when necessary
• Ensure event spaces are prepared on time and to standard
• Uphold a warm, professional demeanor while interacting with clients and guests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or catering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of AV components a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using event software
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors in all weather

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role operates in indoor and outdoor event settings and requires prolonged standing, walking, and lifting periods. Candidates must be comfortable working weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
