About the Role The Texas Women’s Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through advocacy and action, is launching a transformative research project to develop the Texas Women’s Empowerment Index. This groundbreaking tool will measure empowerment levels in rural communities across Texas, helping to identify underserved areas, tailor support programs, and advocate for policy changes in the Texas Legislature. We’re looking for passionate, detail-oriented individuals to join our research team and help bring this vision to life. Responsibilities Assist in designing surveys and research tools. Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. Conduct literature reviews for index development. Collaborate with the team to write reports and summaries of findings. Support outreach efforts to gather data from rural communities. Contribute ideas to help refine the project’s methodology.
