Job Description

Job Function Details:

• Support a workforce of approximately 100 employees across multiple states, maintaining compliance with state-specific regulations.

• Manage full-cycle employee labor relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.

• Promote strong employee relations and uphold engagement strategies aligned with company culture across multiple states.

• Administer and track leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other applicable state and federal programs.

• Serve as an HRIS Subject Matter Expert (SME), preferably with Paycom HRIS system for managing employee data.

• Utilize expertise in HR analytics to drive data-informed decisions and support organizational goals.

• Generate and manage reports using data analytics tools, including pivot tables, aggregation of large datasets, and tracking HR metrics.

• Stay updated on California employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance in HR policies and procedures.

• Demonstrate union contract knowledge in supporting unionized employees, ensuring compliance and positive labor relations (union experience preferred).

• Create and distribute a monthly newsletter with updates on HR policies, organizational changes, and employee recognition.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience (Required)

• 3-5 years Human Resources experience

• Union Experience (Ideal but not Required)

Systems:

• Paycom (Ideal); Experience with Paycom is preferred as organization utilizes the platform's full suite of features and modules.

• Will consider strong experience with large scaled HRIS systems (Required)

• MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Required)

• Advanced experience in Excel (Required)
