As a Health Services Administrator (AZ), you will be the one who provides clinical oversight for health office operations and reporting. You will support Student Health Office personnel and their designees through training, site validation visits, and consultation as well as a Research & Development Specialist in the fields of Nursing and School Health. Be the one who:

• Provides professional expertise in the fields of Nursing and School Health
• Consults with campus leadership to build capacity for supervision of Health Office personnel.
• Imparts knowledge, skills, and experience through training, site visits, and consultation.
• Mentors new hires to orient them to the policies and procedures established by Vertex Education for Student Health Services programming.
• Partners with campus leadership to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
• Conducts visits to campuses on a rotating basis. Conferences with staff, reviews health office documentation, observes Health Assistants’ (and designees) interaction with students and skills in student care, provides training and coaching, and provides expertise on all health/medical topics and health policies/procedures.

Simply be yourself and be the one to succeed as a Health Services Administrator in this role with:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse licensure (RN) from the Arizona State Board of Nursing
• CPR/AED required
• First Aid Certification preferred
• 3 or more years of School Health experience preferred
