This is a sales position that reports directly to the Manager or Director of Sales. This position is responsible for promoting the company’s products and services, and for building relationships with designated accounts. The focus is to help FreshPoint customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company via instore stocking and replenishment. Duties include growing customer and FreshPoint sales, volume and profit year over year by ensuring the right items are in stock for customer demand, stocking displays compliant with customer schematics, removing freshness-dated and damaged products, optimizing consumer engagement on shelf, performing duties related to merchandise such as price changes, tagging, ad set and shelving arrangements, cleaning fixtures, maintaining client relationships by visiting store employees and managers, collaborating on product displays, overseeing ordering of products to ensure adequate stock, arranging credit for damaged products, setting up orders in customer systems, and resolving billing and scanning issues. Education required is a High School Diploma. Preferred experience includes 2 years retail merchandising experience with a valid driver’s license. Technical skills include stocking products, increasing display space, adjusting facings, maintaining client relationships, collaborating on displays, maintaining inventory, setting up displays for promotions, observing competitor pricing and displays, recording inventory and hours on computer systems, and strong communication and customer service skills. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 pounds and conduct physical work. Travel involves daily travel to assigned stores within territory. Work environment is inside retail stores.
