Camp Bow Wow is a premier doggy day care and boarding facility where dogs socialize, play, and receive loving care in a safe, enriching environment. Our team is passionate about pups and committed to providing exceptional service to our four-legged campers and their humans.

Position Summary:
As an AM Camp Counselor, youll be responsible for the safety, happiness, and well-being of our canine Campers. Working under the supervision of the Team Lead and Assistant Manager, youll help maintain a clean and secure facility while supervising play yards, engaging with dogs, and delivering top-tier customer service. Shifts for this position start at 6:30am; 12-32hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with groups of dogs in play yards, ensuring safe and appropriate play behavior
• Monitor dog health and behavior, and communicate any concerns to the Team Lead or Assistant Manager
• Clean and sanitize play areas, cabins, and common spaces following Camp Bow Wow safety and cleanliness standards
• Feed, administer medications (as trained), and assist with enrichment activities
• Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and provide excellent customer service to pet parents
• Maintain accurate records and support a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

• Must love dogs and be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Minimum age: 16 years old
• Ability to work in a physically active role (standing, bending, stooping, lifting 50+ lbs)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts 3-5 shifts weekly, including weekends, and holidays
• Previous experience with dogs or in a pet care environment is a plus but not required

Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible availability required , especially during peak hours, weekends, and holidays. Shifts for this position start at 6:30am; 12-32hours weekly.
