Job Description

Title: Creative Copywriter

Location: Stamford, CT - Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 remote)

Pay Rate: $45-55/hr

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a copywriter, with a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and successful entertainment-focused campaigns.
  • Exceptional creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail are required.
  • Understanding of entertainment programming: experience writing short from content for commercials, TV shows, streaming platforms, social media, etc.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high volume of work is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, are required.
  • Ability to research and stay up-to-date on new advertising techniques and industry best practices to ensure campaigns are fresh and effective.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Plusses:

  • Understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for online visibility is preferred.
  • Experience putting together a pitch deck
  • Understanding of a creative brief.
  • Experience in a managerial or team lead capacity within a copywriting team is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various marketing platforms and channels, including social media, digital, and email marketing, is a plus.

Insight Global is hiring a Creative Copywriter for a large client in Stamford, CT. The Copywriter will help to develop engaging campaign concepts that bring diverse entertainment programming to life. In this role, you will craft compelling writing across a variety of platforms—including social media, digital and print ads, email campaigns, websites, and video scripts—while collaborating closely with designers, strategists, and other creatives to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging. You’ll be responsible for highlighting key themes, characters, and storylines in a way that resonates with audiences and drives viewership. A strong understanding of current entertainment trends, audience behavior, and brand voice is essential, along with the ability to present ideas clearly to both internal stakeholders and external partners. This position is 4 days a week in Stamford, CT and pays $52-54hr.
