Job Description

Audio Engineer Location Newark, CA :

Description

5+ years' experience working on Android Audio user-space stack (Framework and Audio sub-system)
5+ years' experience working on Linux kernel focusing on Audio drivers bring-up and debugging.
7+ years' experience in embedded software development
MS or higher is preferred.
Android Automotive experience is preferred
Requirements Strong Java/C/C++ knowledge
Experience Audio HAL development
Experience with Android Audio sub-system/framework and ALSA layers.
Experience with media processing workflows and common media frameworks and technology: FFmpeg, GStreamer, AVFoundation, MediaCodec
Familiarity with one or more Audio protocols: I2S, I2C, TDM, SPI Good understanding of decode/encode data pipeline

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
